The difference is in how it works. Retatrutide has been nicknamed “Triple G” because it activates three key hormones at once: GLP-1, GIP, and GCG (glucagon). This triple effect may make it the most powerful option yet and early studies back that up.
In a phase II trial, people lost an average of 24.2% of their body weight in just 48 weeks at the highest dose. That’s more than the results seen with Wegovy (~14.9% at 68 weeks) or Mounjaro (~21% at 72 weeks).
- Triple-receptor activation: targets GLP-1, GIP, and glucagon pathways for enhanced appetite suppression, improved insulin sensitivity, increased energy expenditure, and accelerated fat loss.
- Ready-to-use premixed pen: no vials or reconstitution; simply dial, click, and inject subcutaneously.
- Precision dosing: each click delivers 0.1 mg, with a transparent window showing remaining volume.
- Capacity: 300 clicks × 0.1 mg = 30 mg total.
- Quality: ≥ 99% purity, endotoxin < 0.03 EU/mg, sterilized, tamper-evident, scratch-code verified.
Dosing Information (Based on Clinical Trials)
Retatrutide does not yet have an official approved dosing schedule, as it is still in development. However, phase II studies have used the following titration approach:
- Starting dose: 1 mg or 2 mg weekly
- Dose escalation: Increase every 4 weeks
- Maximum dose studied: 12 mg weekly
- Maintenance dose in studies: varied between 4 mg and 12 mg weekly, depending on individual tolerance and goals
Example escalation from trials:
1-4 weeks → 1 mg
5-8 weeks → 2 mg
9-12 weeks → 4 mg
13-16 weeks → 8 mg
17+ weeks → up to 12 mg (if tolerated)
Notes:
- Always escalate gradually (every 4 weeks) to reduce GI side effects.
- Skip escalation if the current dose is well-tolerated but effective.
- Administer once weekly, same day each week, subcutaneously in the abdomen, thigh, or upper arm.
- Refrigerate at 35-40°F after opening.
- Stable 30 days at 25 °C for travel.
